Welcome to the Minnesota electronic Health Library project update page. Our vision for MeHL is to support a healthier Minnesota by providing 24/7, online access to evidence-based, clinical care information to people throughout the state: health care providers, particularly in rural areas; students in health-related programs; and citizens who need to make informed decisions about their own care.

Minnesota Library Association's 2015 Legislative Issues Recommendations

The Minnesota Library Association has posted their 2015 Legislative Issues Recommendations.  Among the many strong priorities listed is a recognition of the "increasing demand for libraries to provide users with digital library materials including ebooks, audiobooks, streaming media, and electronic databases.  [Conversations during the Forum included the possibility of new resources, including an initiative related to medical and health information, “MyHealth”]."

The clinical-level health resources that we hope to provide through the MeHL initiative have the potential to meet the information needs of all Minnesotans in a very meaningful way.
