Welcome to the Minnesota electronic Health Library project update page. Our vision for MeHL is to support a healthier Minnesota by providing 24/7, online access to evidence-based, clinical care information to people throughout the state: health care providers, particularly in rural areas; students in health-related programs; and citizens who need to make informed decisions about their own care.

MeHL Part of Omnibus Bill

The Minnesota Electronic Health Library (MeHL) is still under consideration at the Legislature. The omnibus bill, which includes MeHL, will be released tomorrow (April 15). We ask that you voice your support of MeHL at this important time.

Here’s what you can do:
  1. Share information on MeHL through your email networks and social media. There is a lot of information already prepared on the MeHL website.
  2. Connect with local media about the benefits of MeHL. We have a press release you can share. You can email Erinn Aspinall (aspin005@umn.edu) if you would like the press release document
  3. Send letters (email works) in support of MeHL to all higher education committee members, including committee chairs. These can come from you, from your colleagues, and/or from your Directors and CEOs. Sample letters are available on the MeHL website's Support MeHL page
